Now, Microsoft has officially unveiled its new plans. Although previous revelations have always said that it is a family subscription, Microsoft has not limited this new Game Pass plan to family members, the only limitation is that people in the Friends & Family plan must be in the same country.
Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family plans launched in Ireland and Colombia are priced at 21.99 euros or 49,900 COP (Colombia) per month, which is more cost-effective than buying Xbox Game Pass Ultimate alone.
Microsoft said “Currently, we are piloting this program in Colombia and Ireland. Other countries may join in the coming months,” Microsoft said. Microsoft has yet to announce pricing in other regions such as Europe, the U.K., and the U.S., but previous revelations suggested that the monthly fee for XGP Friends & Family could be around $25.

Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family will include all the same Xbox Game Pass Ultimate benefits. Each group has a total of 5 users and supports Xbox Cloud Gaming, Xbox Live, and even the PC Game Pass version of the game.
