Arizona Governor Doug Ducey said that just over two years later, TSMC has completed the construction of its main facility and continues to make excellent progress. He also said that Arizona is a great place to invest.

It is reported that after the completion of the factory, the 5nm process technology will be used to manufacture wafers for related customers, with a monthly production capacity of 20,000 wafers. Customers include NVIDIA, Qualcomm, and Apple.

Moreover, TSMC will need to install various anti-vibration devices, wiring, sewerage, ventilation, air conditioning, and so on. Once everything is ready, it will start equipping its cleanroom with various fab equipment, including scanners, etching, deposition, resist removal, metrology, and inspection tools.
