New update and system improvements rolling out for Redmi 8A
Back in 2019, Xiaomi released its Redmi 8A smartphones. It comes with a 6.22-inch display, Octa-core processor, Single rear camera, 5000mAh battery, and more. The device came pre-installed with Android 9 (pie) and can only be upgraded to Android 10 based MIUI 12.
The device has started receiving January 2021 Android security patch in some regions. While it is receiving optimized system performance and improves system security as well as stability in Russia.

The update holds the Android 10 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.1.0.QCMINXM. And, to experience it, users will have to download and install the package of 3.2GB on their handsets.
