Xiaomi rolling out MIUI 12 firmware update for Redmi 9 in Indonesia

Xiaomi has now started rolling out the MIUI 12 update for Redmi 9 smartphones in Indonesia. This update comes with a bunch of new features, several optimizations, and a November 2020 Android security patch.

As per the updated changelog, the latest update optimizes animations in some scenes, Press and hold key options, Dark mode brightness, and Control center. Adding to this, it also fixes the issue that the Home screen went black and started flashing after unlocking in some cases.

Furthermore, this newest update added a Status bar color gradient animation. Also, now you can swipe down from the upper left corner to open the notification shade and from the upper right corner to open the Control center.
