YouTube Music has launched a fun new way to share song lyrics on Android and iOS devices. After testing it earlier this year, the feature is now available to everyone using version 8.24 of the app, whether you’re a free or paid user.
To use it, go to the “Now Playing” screen and tap the Lyrics tab. You’ll see a “Share” button at the bottom.
Tap it, and you can pick up to five lines of lyrics from the song. If you select more, it resets, so choose carefully! After picking your lyrics, hit “Next” to choose from 10 different background colors for your lyric card. The first color matches the “Now Playing” screen’s vibe. The card shows the album art in the top-left corner, along with the song title, artist name, and a small YouTube Music logo at the bottom.
Once your card looks good, you can save it as an image or share it directly to apps like Instagram or other platforms. It’s a simple, creative way to share your favorite song lines with friends or on social media, making YouTube Music more fun and personal.
This feature is rolling out now, so update your app to try it. Whether you’re sharing a heartfelt lyric or a catchy line, it’s a great way to connect with others through music.
