Trump's job approval dips, voters feel US is off track
A recent survey shows President Trump’s job approval rating is struggling, with more people unhappy with his performance. According to the Emerson College Polling survey, 45% of voters approve of the job Trump is doing, while 46% disapprove. This puts his approval slightly underwater, meaning more folks are critical than supportive.

The poll also found that 52% of voters think the country is heading in the wrong direction, compared to 48% who believe it’s on the right path. The survey, conducted June 24-25 with 1,000 registered voters, has a margin of error of plus or minus 3%. In earlier polls this year, Trump’s approval was higher—49% in January and 45% in April. His disapproval has grown since then, climbing from 41% in January to 46% now.

This shift suggests growing dissatisfaction among voters. On specific issues, Trump’s handling of immigration and border security gets mixed reactions, with 51% approving and 49% disapproving. His economic policies face tougher criticism, with 39% approving and 61% disapproving.

These numbers reflect a divided public, with many feeling uneasy about the nation’s direction under Trump’s leadership. The poll highlights challenges for Trump as he navigates his second term. With voters split and many believing the U.S. is off course, the president faces pressure to address concerns about the economy and other key issues.
