Samsung rolls out June 2025 security patch for Galaxy phones
Samsung has launched a fresh security update for June 2025, bringing stronger protection to the Galaxy A54, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Z Fold 3. The update is already available in South Korea, with plans to reach more countries soon. This June 2025 patch fixes 36 serious security flaws identified by Google, known as Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), and 19 specific issues found in Samsung’s software, called Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs).

These fixes tackle problems in features like screen capture, fingerprint scanning, Bluetooth, Theme Manager, and Samsung Cloud, making the phones safer and more reliable. The update runs on Android 15 with One UI 7, boosting performance for a smoother experience. Galaxy A54 users can spot the update with the build number A546SKSSADYF1, while Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 users will see F926NKSS9KYF1 and F711NKSS9KYF1, respectively.

To check for the update, go to Settings, tap Software Update, and select Download and Install. Installing it ensures your device stays secure and ready for future updates. While Samsung is testing new One UI 8 features for the Galaxy S25 series, the Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 won’t get this major update. However, the Galaxy A54 is set to receive One UI 8 later. For now, this security patch keeps these devices running smoothly and safely.
