Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 may get a bigger front screen
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 might come with a much larger front screen, according to recent leaks. This change would make the phone’s outer display cover the entire top half, similar to the design of Motorola’s Razr series. The new screen could be around 4 inches, compared to the 3.4 inches on the Galaxy Z Flip 6, giving users more space for quick tasks like checking notifications or using apps without opening the phone.

The leak comes from reliable sources, including animation files found in Samsung’s One UI 8 software, which show a front screen that stretches edge-to-edge and wraps around the cameras. Earlier rumors suggested the Z Flip 7 would keep the same design as its predecessor, but these new details point to a bold upgrade. A larger front screen could make the phone more practical and user-friendly, catching up to competitors like Motorola.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to launch on July 9, 2025, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Watch 8 at Samsung’s Unpacked event in New York City. Other rumored upgrades include a 6.85-inch main screen, a smoother hinge, and a possible battery boost to 4,300 mAh. While the cameras may stay the same, Samsung could add new AI features to improve photos and videos. Pricing is likely to remain close to the Z Flip 6’s $1,099 starting point.
