Samsung is set to launch its Galaxy Watch 8 series next month, and recent leaks give us a sneak peek at what’s coming. The lineup includes the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and a new Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025). These smartwatches are getting a fresh look with a “squircle” shape, blending a circular display with a slightly square frame, inspired by last year’s Galaxy Watch Ultra.
The standard Galaxy Watch 8 will have a sleek design with a slim bezel and two buttons on the right side. It comes in two sizes, offering options for different wrist sizes. The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic stands out with a thicker bezel that rotates, a fan-favorite feature returning this year, and a third “Quick” button for extra functionality. The new Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) introduces a bold blue color, but it’s unclear if it brings major upgrades beyond the new shade. It might cost $699, a bit pricier than the current Ultra model.
Leaked images, shared by sources like Android Headlines and Evan Blass, show a black and silver Classic and a vibrant blue Ultra. The Classic has a 1.5-inch display and a 46mm case, possibly with a stronger vibration motor. These watches will likely debut with Samsung’s One UI 8 Watch, featuring new health tools and Gemini integration. Expect the official reveal at Samsung’s summer Unpacked event in July.
