Reddit’s new ad tools tap into community chats at Cannes Lions 2025
At the Cannes Lions 2025 festival, Reddit rolled out new tools to help brands connect with its lively user base. These tools, called Reddit Community Intelligence, turn the platform’s 20 years of user conversations into simple, useful insights for marketers. The goal is to help companies create ads that feel real and relevant to Reddit’s communities.

One tool, Reddit Insights, uses AI to dig through years of Reddit posts and comments. It helps marketers understand what people are talking about, plan campaigns, and test ideas in real time. Another feature, Conversation Summary Add-ons, places actual Reddit user comments under a brand’s ad, making it more engaging by showing real community voices.

Early tests show these ads get 19% more clicks than regular image ads, proving they grab attention and feel authentic. Reddit partnered with Publicis, a big marketing agency, to test these tools. Publicis found new audiences and boosted brand awareness by tapping into Reddit’s unique conversations. Reddit says these tools are just the start, aiming to give marketers deeper insights into what real people think and care about.

With 108 million daily users, Reddit’s platform is a goldmine of honest opinions, especially on topics like health, wellness, and beauty. These tools help brands join those conversations in a way that feels natural, not forced. As Reddit puts it, in a world full of AI-generated content, real human voices on their platform stand out more than ever.
