Elon Musk shares clean drug test results
Tech billionaire Elon Musk recently posted a drug test report on X, showing he tested negative for over 20 substances, including cocaine, opiates, and ketamine. The test, conducted by Fastest Labs in South Austin, Texas, on June 11, 2025, was shared with a simple “lol” comment. This came after claims that Musk used drugs heavily during his time aiding Trump’s administration.

The accusations followed a public falling-out with President Donald Trump. Their feud started over disagreements about a government budget bill, with Musk suggesting Trump should face impeachment. Trump responded by calling Musk a “big-time drug addict” on Truth Social, hinting at ending government contracts with Musk’s companies, like SpaceX.

Musk hit back, mentioning his past support for Trump and even threatening to decommission SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft. Musk has openly admitted to using prescription ketamine for depression and once smoked marijuana on a 2018 Joe Rogan podcast, which led to mandatory drug tests for SpaceX staff due to federal rules. Despite these admissions, the recent test results aim to clear his name.

However, some reports noted high creatinine levels in Musk’s test, raising questions about possible kidney issues. While the drug test was negative, the health concern has sparked new discussions. Musk’s post seems to be a direct response to critics, but the feud with Trump and health questions keep the spotlight on him.
