Apple is set to open a fresh retail store in Perth, Australia, at Forrest Place, a lively pedestrian spot in the city’s heart. The store will sit in a historic building, once home to the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, at the corner of Forrest Place and Murray Street. It’s taking over a space previously used by City Beach, a local swimwear shop.
The new location replaces Apple’s existing store on Hay Street, which opened in 2010 and will close for good on June 25. The bigger, modern Forrest Place store will welcome customers starting June 27. Apple calls it “a thriving hub of creativity,” promising an exciting space for Perth shoppers.
To mark the opening, Apple released a colorful floral-themed wallpaper for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, available for download on the store’s webpage.
They’re also highlighting Western Australian artists and storytellers on Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Books, celebrating local talent.
The new store aims to boost Forrest Place as a community spot, offering hands-on sessions, device trade-ins, and expert support. With its prime location and fresh design, Apple hopes to draw more visitors to Perth’s city center, making it a go-to place for tech and creativity.
