Rolls-Royce Spectre EV entered track for testing

At the beginning of the year, it was reported that Rolls-Royce will launch a pure electric sports car Spectre EV. Now some sources have taken spy photos of this car being tested at the Nurburgring. The appearance is very luxurious, and the interior is very luxurious.

Similar to the previously exposed prototype car, the appearance of the Rolls-Royce Spectre EV follows the family design language of the fuel version. The front face is composed of the iconic Parthenon grille + split headlights on both sides, and the two-door coupe. The body structure also appears very sporty.

At present, Rolls-Royce is still tight-lipped on the performance of the new car, but there are reports that the company shares a luxury pure electric platform with Cullinan and Phantom, and it is a new structure that has been modified to increase strength in a dual motor arrangement.

The Ghost and Phantom’s luxury architecture platform is also the powertrain of the BMW iX M60, which has two electric motors producing 610 hp (449 kW) and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Newton-meters) of power in Sport mode.

During normal driving, the system produces 532 hp (391 kW) and 749 lb-ft (1015 Nm). The iX M60 uses a 111.5 kWh battery pack with an estimated range of 280 miles (450 kilometers). The unveiling date of the electric Rolls-Royce coupe has yet to be set, but deliveries of the new car are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2023.
