As can be seen from the figure, different categories can be selected at the top of the game library, and each category has different filtering options. For example, Xbox Game Pass can view “recently entered library” or “about to leave” games, which is convenient for players to find.

The latest classifications include:

  • All games: All games are in the game library.

  • Owned games: All games purchased by the player.

  • Xbox Game Pass: Games acquired through an XGP subscription, plus lists for Play Later, Recently Added, and Upcoming.

  • EA Play: Available separately or as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Includes games from EA. Again, the category has a “Recently Added” list, but also includes a “Game Trials” list.

  • Games with Gold: Includes all the games players can get as part of their Xbox Live Gold monthly free games.

  • There’s also a category dedicated to apps like Netflix, Disney+, Spotify, and more.

Moreover, the interface has been pushed to Xbox Insider Alpha Ring version users and is expected to be rolled out to all Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One series users in the next few weeks.
