In December 2022, Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi launched a mid-range smartphone Redmi 9 Power. The device comes with MIUI 12 based on Android 10 out of the box. The main highlights of the budget phone from Redmi are a massive battery, a big 6.53-inch FHD+ display, a 48MP primary quad rear camera, and stereo speakers.

Now, the company has rolled out a new software update for Redmi 9 Power smartphone users in India, that primarily brings the May 2022 security patch update.
