Redmi K50 Extreme Edition is the first SGS low visual fatigue certified mobile phone

On August 11, the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition was officially released, the world’s first 1.5K screen. It is understood that this screen is a new OLED straight screen created by Xiaomi, Tianma Microelectronics, and Huaxing Optoelectronics. It not only has a high-definition resolution far exceeding 1080P but also saves more power than a 2K high-definition screen.

In addition, the resolution of this straight screen is 2712×1220, the PPI is as high as 446, and the clarity is directly comparable to the iPhone 13 Pro Max. At a normal viewing distance of about 20 cm, the actual look and feel are almost the same as that of the 2K screen.

In terms of screen pixel arrangement, the K50 Extreme Edition adopts the latest pixel arrangement technology from two major screen factories: Tianma Windmill and Huaxing Pearl 2.0 arrangement. It effectively reduces the loss of OLED clarity, achieves a higher equivalent resolution, and has a more delicate and smooth display effect.

It is worth noting that the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition is also the first SGS low visual fatigue certified mobile phone, which has passed a number of tests and can bring users a more eye-friendly long-term experience.

In addition to the 1.5K straight screen of the K50 Extreme Edition, Redmi also released two flagship mobile phones with a straight screen this year, including the K50/K50 Pro with a 2K straight screen and the Note 11 series with an LCD high-definition straight screen.
