Xiaomi has kicked off a new firmware update for the POCO M4 Pro 5G smartphone users. This firmware is currently released in the Global market and is expected to be released in other regions soon. This update installs an Android security patch update for the month of May 2022.

Xiaomi has started implementing the latest March 2022 security patch for POCO M4 Pro 5G smartphone users in Turkey. Other markets are expected to occur in a few days or weeks.
The software update for POCO M4 Pro 5G comes with firmware number V12.5.5.0.RGBTRXM. If users didn’t get OTA yet, then attempt to flash a Recovery file of about 2.6 GB manually via the below link.
This update doesn’t bring any additional features and improvements apart from improving the system’s security and stability. For more information regarding the update, you can check the complete changelog below.
