Xiaomi published a list of devices that are no longer supported

Xiaomi has published two lists of dead devices that will no longer be supported such as a Xiaomi End of Life and no providing services after-sales. The Xiaomi End of Life list includes smartphones that will not receive new firmware updates such as security updates, system performance updates, and the latest version of MIUI skin and Android operating system.

This list contains quite a few models. But, some new models are added to the list such as Redmi Go, Redmi Note 7, and Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphones. Below you can check the end-of-life devices list.

Also, the second list includes such devices that will no longer provide after-sales services. It means the company will not provide the repair and replacement of device components. It contains several smartphones, smart bands, and watches. Which includes Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S, Mi 8 Lite (Youth Edition), Redmi Note 5, Redmi 6, Mi Pad 4, and Xiaomi Mi Band. Mi Band 2, Mi Band 3, Mi Band 3i (India version), Mi Band 4, Mi Watch, Xiaomi Mi Watch Color Keith Haring Edition, and many more smart home accessories and devices.

However, the users of these devices will still be able to claim to test, clean, and debug services. Also, the second list of devices concerns only the Chinese market. But global market conditions are unlikely to change much.
