Recently, the company has begun rolling out a major MIUI 13 update for the older smartphone, the Mi 9 Pro 5G. This update is currently released for Chinese users and is expected to reach more users in the coming days or weeks.
According to the changelog, the firmware update comes with all features of MIUI 13 such as Protective watermarks for images, a comprehensive anti-fraud protection mechanism, and an all-new Mi Sans system font with better readability, Crystallization live wallpapers, and optimized the overall stability.

The software update for Mi 9 Pro 5G is identified with firmware number V13.0.1.0.RFXCNXM. If users don’t want to wait for the OTA release, then try to download the firmware package at around 2.7 GB via the below link, this update is based on the Android 11 operating system.
