Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G has started getting the MIUI 13 update in China. Along with several new changes and improvements, the latest update also brings the security patch for the month of February 2022.
According to the changelog, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G MIUI 13 update focuses on a bunch of optimizations such as accessibility support for Phone, Clock, Weather, and Themes, mind map nodes are more suitable and reflexive now, the wallet looks much better now, or more.
It also optimizes the home screen. It is now much more fluid and responsive, and responsive for all systems and most popular third-party apps. Other features such as Crystallization super wallpaper, anti-fraud protection mechanisms, watermark protection for images, new widgets, Mi AI voice assistance, and more are also the highlights of this update.
It further brings a new feature that apps can be opened as a floating window directly from the sidebar. Now when considering the February 2022 security patch, it helps is preventing your device from bugs and viruses. In addition, it enhances the system’s security and stability for a better user experience.

The major MIUI 13 comes with the Android 12 based MIUI 13 build version V13.0.3.0.SJSCNXM and heavy package size of 4.1GB. We recommend that one should use an unmetered connection or WiFi while downloading and installing the update.
