MIUI 12.5 Tips: How to enable RAM Expansion feature in Xiaomi smartphone

Introduced with the closed beta for Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, MIUI 12.5 RAM Expansion feature will make its wider rollout with MIUI 13 skin. It works the same as the name mentions, it converts part of the device’s internal storage to virtual RAM.

Initially, the capacity was capped at 1GB but has now improved to 3GB. Depending on your device storage configuration, you get 1GB, 2GB, or 3GB virtual RAM. As of now, both mid-range and sub-premium Xiaomi phones have got the feature.
