More than 90% of Mi 12 Pro users sustain a balanced mode: Zhang Guoquan

Zhang Guoquan, director of Xiaomi’s mobile phone system software department, said through social media that the survey showed that more than 90% of the users of Xiaomi 12 Pro maintained a balanced mode.

Moreover, Zhang Guoquan pointed out that most of the user’s usage scenarios are more concerned about agitation in the normal mode. So in the equilibrium mode, their temperature control is very strict.

According to reports, users who like to play large-scale games and have high frame rate requirements can sacrifice the thermal experience slightly and can operate smoothly in the performance mode.

Furthermore, Mi 12 Pro is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 2900mm² super-large VC super luxury heat dissipation, and has three-speed modes such as balanced mode, performance mode, and extreme mode.

Xiaomi’s official instructions for the three modes are as follows:

Balanced mode: To meet daily use, excellent temperature control performance. The average temperature of WeChat chat is 29.7℃, and the average temperature of online video is 29.4℃.

Performance mode: Suitable for playing games. In the 30-minute test of King of Glory, the average frame rate was 119.9fps and the temperature was 43.5°C.

Extreme mode: Suitable for super enthusiasts. A 30-minute test at Yuanshen, with a temperature limit of 48°C, and an average frame rate of 57fps.
