Xiaomi will hold a launch event in China on December 28. In the event, the tech giant will be introducing Xiaomi 12 smartphones. However, Xiaomi 12 will not be alone, MIUI 13 will be introduced alongside.
Our folks over at xiaomiui claim that the latest version of the UI will be a major upgrade as compared to the MIUI 12.5. The new UI may also bring some major improvements and UI changes.
Anyways, we have witnessed several leaks and rumors about MIUI 13, still, it is yet to know if the new version is only Android 12 based or like previous versions, it will also run on at least two Android OS.

But one thing is for sure that the update will first roll out for the company’s high-end smartphones, which are currently running on Android 12 beta. Below you can check the list of expected devices that will get MIUI 13 in the first wave.

As mentioned above, MIUI 13 is expected to come with major improvements. It may introduce features like iOS-like widgets, smart toolbox, front camera assistant, and MIUI Pure Mode. The operating system may also add features like memory extension, new MIUI+ features, and more. It is also rumored that there could also be a customized version of MIUI 13 for Redmi devices.
