Xiaomi’s MIUI is among the most widely used custom UX among smartphone users. In the last few years, MIUI brought amazing features and functions for Mi, Redmi, and Poco smartphones.

Among those features, one is a Floating Window. In MIUI 11, we could see how we can split the screen of our mobile. While with the release of MIUI 12 last year, this feature has been improved. It now allows us to use floating windows.

A floating window can be seen as a unique version of a multi-window. Instead of dedicating your entire screen to two different applications floating window does exactly as it sounds.

How to enable Floating Window:

  • Open multitasking by sliding your finger from the bottom to the center of the screen.
