This morning, Xiaomi officially announced that Xiaomi 12 will launch on December 28. The company hinted at the arrival of Xiaomi 12 Pro and 12X as well. Now the company confirms the Xiaomi 12 Pro launch.
Alongside this, the tech giant also unveils displays and the size of the upcoming products. Both of these phones feature a punch-hole display that is placed at the top center. What differentiates the devices are their display size.

According to the officials, Xiaomi 12 is a small-sized high-end flagship that achieves breakthroughs in strength with innovation. Whereas, Xiaomi 12 Pro is an all-around high-end flagship that integrates a high-energy experience.
In addition, both of these Xiaomi 12 will come with Qualcomm’s brand new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Xiaomi said, “engineers adjusted for several months, and finally stimulated the treasure of Snapdragon 8. A different good experience will be presented by the ‘faster and more stable’ Xiaomi Mi 12.”
Other than these, previously, these three smartphones have appeared on the 3C database, which reveals their battery capacity. Going by 3C reports, When the Xiaomi 12 and 12X battery charging support limited to 67W, the 12 Pro will support 120W rapid charging.
Aside from phones, there’s also a report that MIUI 13 could also uncover at December 28 event. However, the officials are yet to confirm the report. If this goes true, Xiaomi 12 series will run Android 12 based MIUI 13 OS out of the box.
Anyways, when considering other Xiaomi 12 series phones such as Xiaomi 12 Ultra and Xiaomi 12 Lite, they could go official in Q1 of next year. We may get some information about the future phones at the Xiaomi 12 launch on December 28.
