WhatsApp is releasing a new beta update for its Android users that can be identified via build version 2.22.1.7. It lets group admins delete messages for everyone, giving more power to group admins. Since the update is only released for beta testers, it will not be accessible for regular WhatsApp operators.
It’s been a long when WhatsApp released the ‘delete messages from everyone’ feature in chats, however, groups admins still don’t have this power. Now, this is going to be changed soon. It does mean that if you are an admin of a group, you’ll be able to remove unwanted or inappropriate messages sent by group members.

In the above-mentioned screenshot, it can be clearly seen that WhatsApp will indicate who has deleted a message for everyone. If the message will be deleted by a group member then the text will be “This message has been deleted”. Whereas, when an admin deletes the message, it says “This message has been deleted by an admin”.
Anyways, as mentioned above, this feature isn’t available because it is still under development. WhatsApp is working on it to ensure the best bug-free experience for you when it’s released. The publisher didn’t say when this feature will be released, let’s wait for the next report.
Previous WhatsApp Update: Edit Recipient Feature
A recent WhatsApp update showcased hidden references about a newly redesigned layout when sending media, which is the edit recipient feature. Although it is a minor redesign, we expected that there may be more in a future update.
