WhatsApp for Android gets new edit recipient feature

WhatsApp began rolling out a new update for its users. This update showcased hidden references about a newly redesigned layout when sending media, which is the edit recipient feature.

Although it is a minor redesign, we expected that there may be more in a future update. With this feature, now it will be really possible to edit the recipients before sending your media.

You can check the first preview of this feature below.

So when you are editing your media in the drawing editor, you will be able to select more people to send the media to, even if you’re already in a different chat.

WhatsApp Disappearing Message Feature:

In a previous development, WhatsApp improved its disappearing message feature. Earlier, the WhatsApp disappearing messages feature automatically delete chats after seven days. Now the company has increased the time limit. Users will now be able to set messages for auto-deletion after 24 hours, 7 days, or 90 days.

In addition, WhatsApp users will now have the option to turn on disappearing messages by default for all new chats. This means that when enabled, all new chats that they or any other user start will disappear within their chosen period of time. Read More
