Redmi Note 10S’s 8GB + 128GB variant launched in India, sale starts today

Yesterday, we have been reported that Xiaomi is planning to introduce a new Redmi Note 10S storage variant in India. Soon after the report surfs online, Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 10S 8GB + 128GB variant in the country.

The new model carries a price tag of Rs 18,499 (around $247). It will go on first sale today (December 3) through Amazon,, Mi Home stores, and retail stores.


The new 8GB + 128GB device has been introduced as the topmost version of the phone, which is already available in 6GB + 64GB  and 6GB + 128GB variants. The prices of these are as follows –

  • 6GB + 64GB  – Rs 14,999 ($204)
  • 6GB + 128GB – Rs 15,999 ($217)

To recall, Redmi Note 10S comes in three colors in India including Shadow Black, Frost White, and Deep Sea Blue color variants. However, in August, Xiaomi uncovered the beautiful Starlight Purple color.

The Redmi Note 10S has a 6.43-inch AMOLED DotDisplay with 1080 × 2400 pixels resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and 1100nits brightness. It equips Snapdragon 720G processor and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charge support.

In terms of software, it entered the smartphone market with Android 11 based MIUI 12 OS but is now running on the latest MIUI 12.5. Also, it is the first Xiaomi/Redmi smartphone that runs MIUI 12.5 out of the box in India.

Talking about the camera configuration, the device flaunts a 64MP primary camera. It comes along with an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 13MP selfie shooter. Check detailed specifications here.
