Xiaomi is currently preparing to introduce Xiaomi 12 smartphones in China in December this year. Similarly, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand also plans to launch the next generation of its K-series products in its home country, the Redmi K50 series.
In a recent development, famous Weibo blogger – DigitalChatStation revealed that Redmi K50 models will come preinstalled with the latest MIUI 13. Earlier it was also reported that Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X featuring MIUI 13 will arrive in December. However, it’s yet to be clear if the devices will get the update based on Android 11 or Android 12.

In another news, Lu Weibing, the president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of the Redmi brand, took to Weibo to promote the upcoming Redmi products in 2022. The question was fairly straightforward as to what people are looking forward to the most.
The responses to the question mostly revolved around the upcoming Redmi K50 series. Also, it can be observed that fans are expecting to see the phone’s pricing at just 1,999 Yuan or around $313.
Besides, it’s been a long when Lu Weubing started hyping the upcoming Redmi K50 series. A few days ago, there was a similar question on Weibo whether the Redmi K50 series needs an SE model. However, the fans denied it and said it’s unnecessary as the lineup already has four models.
According to previous practices, the Redmi K50 series will offer four high-end chipsets variants including Snapdragon 8 Gen1, MediaTek 9000, MediaTek 7000, and the Snapdragon 870.
