Back in August this year, Xioami began releasing the MIUI 12.5 update for Redmi 8 smartphones in China and later in global and other regions. Meanwhile, in the recent development, the firmware is rolling out for Indian users. The update is based on Android 10 OS and the phone is not eligible to get Android 11.
Moreover, the MIUI 12.5 update for the phone comes with several changes in UI as well as on the settings page and others. It brings new features, animations, wallpapers, sounds, updated applications, and much more.
