Xiaomi is rolling out a new update for its launcher which is known as MIUI System Launcher or MIUI Alpha Launcher. Identified via build version V4.26.0.4048-11301642, the new update brings some bug fixes to enhance the users’ experience.
Going by the changelog, the update adds loading animation on desktop, optimizes full-screen gesture performance in recent tasks, as well as fixes several bugs including the XiaoAi icon classification crashing, switching between classic mode, and sliding up crashing, invalid gestures when swiping quickly.

Moreover, when switching themes, the shortcut thumbnails in the folder are not updated, in the drawer, users will now have to press the shortcut to enter the recent task and disappear. The MIUI Alpha Launcher is presently adapted to Android 12 native widgets, click on the text bar to pop up a detailed message interest.
Besides these, the firmware also fixes the inconsistency between the recent task card lock display or the actual lock state, the bug of split-screen that when returning to the desktop from the application the icon is stuck on the desktop and does not disappear, and other crashing issues.
