Xiaomi is rolling out the new software update for Mi 11 Lite 5G smartphones in China. This update improves system security alongside enhancing its security and stability.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G is getting a new software update, which is initially released for Europen ROM users. However, it is expected to be released for other region users in the coming days.
The firmware is based on MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11, which comes with the build version V12.5.6.0.RKIEUXM. To install it, users will need to download the package of around 2.5GB on their smartphones.
Moreover, the changelog for the update mentions that the update optimizes the phone’s performance as well as improves system security and stability. You might not notice any superior new features when you install it, but it is important nonetheless.
Furthermore, you can get the download links for the update below but if you want to install it manually, head over the Settings of your smartphones. Now click on System Updates > Download and Install. Once installed, Restart your phone, and you are done.
Before you download it, do note that this update will not harm your data but make sure to prepare a backup before downloading the firmware. Also, your phone’s battery should be charged, at least 30%.
