Xiaomi started releasing a new firmware update for the Redmi Note 9 smartphones users. This update is initially released to Russian ROM users but is expected to release in other regions in the coming days.
To be mentioned, the update is based on MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11, which sports build version V12.5.2.0.RJORUXM. To experience it, you need to download and install the package of around 2.5GB on your smartphone.
The changelog of this new Redmi Note 9 release suggests optimizations for the phone’s system performance for users’ experience enhancement. In addition to this, it also improves system security and stability.
Adding to this, the changelog for the update doesn’t mention any new feature of major changes. Users may find minor changes and improvements after installing the latest version.
