As declared, the OEM has now begun sending new firmware for the Redmi 8A Dual in India. Originally, it focuses on improving system performance as well as increasing system security and stability.

However, the changelog for the update does not mention new features or changes. Users may notice some minor changes and improvements after installing the latest version.
Aside from this, the updated version is V12.5.5.0.QCQINXM for downloading it, we suggest you use an unmetered connection of WiFi. Notably, this release is only accessible for MI Pilot testers for now.
