To date, several variants of Note 8 get to taste the features that come with the Android 11 update in the global market. The Note 8 users are waiting for nine months as the tech giant hasn’t updated these models yet. Although the Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 enhanced versions are expected to be released simultaneously in the country, it seems a different case.

Regard this matter, a well-known Xiaomi tipster named xiaomiui has reported that the Android 11 update for the Redmi Note 8 is ready. In addition, the company will initiate the rollout process in the coming days. Although the builds will still be based on MIUI 12, which means that MIUI 12.5 and its upgraded version have been delayed in this region.
Furthermore, the tipster gives an explanation for the Android 11 update will come alongside the security release notes. Still, the specific month wasn’t mentioned in the report but we are expecting it’ll be the October patch. For the time being, we have to wait for more information or updates to come.
