WhatsApp seems to be planning to change various sections to provide more spontaneous and enhanced features to its users. Reportedly, these changes are made for almost every variant user of the application including Android, iOS, Business, as well as web/desktop users.
To be mentioned, the same feature was being tested for WhatsApp business users last month. The layout appeared to have a modern look with the profile image framed in a round design. However, this new design was in the review phase and is still not available for beta testers.

What’s New:
There will be two new contact buttons for voice and video calling. It is also expected that that could be more measurements, but they are yet to be unveiled. Now a similar design is being prepared for Android users.

WhatsApp New Contact Info:
Going by the image shown, the profile picture has given a round shape instead of a square with the contact name and number just below the profile. In addition, communication switches, including chat, audio calls, and voice calls, are arranged on one side of the information card.
One can also view the bio which is currently placed at the very end in the information section. Also, in this new design, WhatsApp has shifted the About and Phone Number section from the bottom to the top.
Alike the business version, this new change hasn’t been also released for beta users neither there’s any information on its release timeline. As soon as the update reaches users, we’ll make sure to inform you.
