Xiaomi has recently begun sending the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced version update for its second batch of devices in China and will begin the rollouts globally in few days. Anyways, the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G smartphones are the latest to receive the firmware.
As introduced, the enhanced version doesn’t bring any new features but it mainly focuses on Focused algorithms, Atomized memory, Liquid storage, and Smart balance. However, the firmware for Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G also brings Smart balance and some bug fixes.

As per the changelog, the new algorithms will dynamically allocate system resources based on specific scenes, ensuring a smooth experience on all models. The ultra-fine memory management mechanism will make RAM usage more efficient.

On the other hand, it fixes problems, such as the lock screen items weren’t displayed when super wallpapers and themes were combined, notification shade couldn’t be opened, player controls weren’t always displayed in the Notification shade, and buttons weren’t always displayed correctly on the notifications when Dark mode was on.
