A couple of days ago, Xiaomi introduced its new smartphone, Xiaomi CiVi. However, the device only went official in China but we believed that it will be surely introduced outside its home country. But it seems not to be the case.
A piece of new information by Android Authority claims that Xiaomi confirmed that there are no plans to bring the new CiVi smartphone to global markets. “Xiaomi CiVi remains a Mainland China-only device,” the company told the media in response to an emailed query.

Although, the media is not sure if there will be a rebranded version or not. We’ll have to wait and see.
Xiaomi CiVi Specifications:
- Display: Xiaomi CiVi displays a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
- Processor: It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor.
- Software: The phone runs on the latest Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 operating system.
- Camera: The camera setup includes a 64MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 2MP macro shooter. Upfront, the smartphone comes with a 32MP selfie snapper.
- Battery: It comes with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 55W super-second charging.
