Xiaomi 11T Pro complete BIS certification, India launch near

Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro are currently the latest offering from Xiaomi, outside China. The smartphones were launched on September 15 in global markets. However, we already know that they will definitely make their way to Indian markets.

Following the new information, Xiaomi 11T Pro with model number M2107113SI has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification database. This certification hints at the imminent launch of the smartphone.

Xiaomi 11T Pro Specifications:

Xiaomi 11T Pro is designed with a “Cinemagic” experience in mind, with a list of photo and video features, such as AI Cinema modes, 8K recording, and HDR10+. One-click AI cinema modes for features such as Time Freeze, Magic Zoom, and more. There is also an audio zoom feature.

It features a 6.67’’ FHD+ 120Hz AdaptiveSync AMOLED flat display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. Moreover, the phone comes with a triple camera setup on the rear consisting of a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit (120° FOV), and a 5MP telemacro shooter with autofocus. On the front, they have a 16MP snapper for selfies.

It sports a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W Xiaomi HyperCharge technology. When talking about the software, the phone works on the latest, Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 OS out of the box.

Xiaomi 11T Series Update Policy:

On September 15, Xiaomi officially introduced Xiaomi 11T smartphones globally. A few days ahead of the launch, the company announced the new update policy for this and the future Xiaomi smartphones.

According to the new plan, the device will get three years of major operating system updates and four years of security patches. Although Xiaomi usually offers two Android updates to its mid-range and flagship devices and three years of quarterly security updates.

Recently, Google added Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro smartphones to its Android Enterprise Recommended program. The Android Enterprise program has become an important tool for enterprise customers, helping them easily evaluate and approve devices that meet Google’s requirements for hardware, software, and updates.
