Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro are now part of Android Enterprise Recommended Program

Google has added Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro smartphones to its Android Enterprise Recommended program. The Android Enterprise program has become an important tool for enterprise customers, helping them easily evaluate and approve devices that meet Google’s requirements for hardware, software, and updates.

The Android Enterprise Recommended (AER) program from Google was first introduced in 2018. It is an initiative that certifies Android handsets for use in enterprise or business sectors.

Since its initial introduction with seven device makers, the program has had more than 30 global partners, with the recent addition of devices from major manufacturers such as Lenovo, OnePlus, Oppo, and Xiaomi.

For being certified, every smartphone must match a certain set of requirements. The device should have met a minimum hardware specification, receive regular Android security updates after 90 days of release with up to 3 years of patches from Google, and other criteria.

Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro:

On September 15, Xioami officially uncovered its new 11T and 11T Pro smartphones globally. These devices come with several latest and most advanced features that a smartphone of this age could have.

These are designed with a “Cinemagic” experience in mind, with a list of photo and video features, such as AI Cinema modes, 8K recording, and HDR10+. One-click AI cinema modes for features such as Time Freeze, Magic Zoom, and more. There is also an audio zoom feature.

Xiaomi 11T Pro

Moreover, they feature a 6.67’’ FHD+ 120Hz AdaptiveSync AMOLED flat display. The 11T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Ultra chipset. Whereas, the Pro model equips Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.

The pair of phones come with a triple camera setup on the rear consisting of a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit (120° FOV), and a 5MP telemacro shooter with autofocus. On the front, they have a 16MP snapper for selfies.

They sport a 5,000mAh battery. When the 11T is limited to 67W fast charging, the 11T Pro supports 120W Xiaomi HyperCharge technology. When talking about the software, the phones work on the latest, Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 OS out of the box.
