Xiaomi has just begun rolling out the September 2021 Android security patches to its eligible smartphones. The first Xiaomi phone that is getting the update is Redmi Note 10.
Along with this, the fresh firmware also brings some bug fixes for users’ experience enhancement. As per the changelog, it solves the problem that using Face unlock and Fingerprint unlock simultaneously led to crashes in some cases.

It further fixes the lock screen notifications that disappeared after an ended call issue and cleaner animations weren’t displayed correctly problem.

The September 2021 security update for Redmi Note 10 smartphones holds the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 version V12.5.3.0.RKGMIXM. It weighs 2.5GB, thus, we recommend you downloading and installing it through an unmetered connection or WiFi.
