On September 3, Xioami’s sub-brand Redmi uncovered its new smartphone dubbed Redmi 10 Prime in India. The phone goes on sale in India for the first time today at 12 pm IST via Amazon and official Xiaomi outlets.
Redmi 10 Prime has a polycarbonate black. It comes in matte Phantom Black and Astral White with a classic, smooth fingerprint-proof finish as well a textured glossy Bifrost Blue color.

It has two variants when talking about storage. The prices are as follows –
- 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage – Rs 12,499 (~$171)
- 6 GB RAM+ 128 GB storage – Rs 14,499 (~$198)

Through HDFC Bank debit/credit cards and EMI transactions, users can get up to Rs 750 instant discount while purchasing the Redmi 10 Prime in India.

On making purchases through Mi.com, customers will get flat Rs. 400 off and save up to Rs. 10,500 with Mi Exchange. Mi.com is also offering the Mi Wi-Fi Smart Speaker for Rs. 1,999 – Originally available for Rs. 3,999.

The Redmi 10 Prime displays a 6.5 inches FHD+ punch-hole screen that offers a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.
- Processor and storage:
It equips a new MediaTek Helio G88 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and gives up to 128GB of internal storage. Also, it has a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.
- Software:
The Redmi 10 Prime runs on the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 operating system out of the box.

It has a quad-camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP lens, and two 2MP cameras. For selfies and video chat, there’s an 8MP snapper.

It features a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging through USB Type-C. It also supports 9W reveres charging
