Xiaomi is currently hyping an upcoming event called New Product Launch in the global region on September 15. This event, as the name suggests, is likely to focus on new personal devices.
Reports say that Xiaomi will be launching Mi Pad 5 tablet and Mi 11T smartphone series in the event. However, there are no official words on this. Meanwhile, ahead of the launch, the tablet has been seen in an unboxing video.

The video was shared on Instagram by the Belarusian store NSV.by. The store has also put up a post on the social media platform that says the Mi Pad 5 is now available for pre-order.
Xiaomiui reposted the video and shared more details about the forthcoming tablet. Similar to the Chinese variant, Mi Pad 5 comes in a white box. However, this box is significantly thicker than the one that is sold in China. This is because of the included accessories such as a charger and USB cable.
Moreover, the film on top of the tablet displays a few specs such as a WQHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, quad speakers, a Snapdragon 860 processor, and a dual-cell 8720mAh battery.
The video also shows that the global version of the Mi Pad 5 will be available in white and black colors. Besides, the store has put a price tag of BYN 1199 ($479) on the 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage model of the tablet.
For comparison, this price tag is significantly higher than the CNY 1999 ($310) price tag in China.
