What is MIUI Pure Mode?
MIUI Pure is a completely new system installation mode, whose main function is based on preventing the installation of malicious applications that can endanger our privacy and technical security.

With the function enabled, the GetApps stores will be the only place to download and install applications. This mode can be turned off at any time, and everyone can choose to turn on or off the mode.
MIUI Pure Mode Release Schedule?
The first beta version of MIUI Pure Mode will be released on September 6. Probably, it will enter a stable version before the arrival of MIUI 13. In this way, global users can avail the facility with the upcoming MIUI version.
Why MIUI Pure Mode?
As per the officials, the company has received multiple feedbacks about application installation issues. Android open source does bring a more open and free market, but it also makes risks more likely to appear and spread.
Of the applications installed through the application package management component every day, 40% have never passed the security audit of Xiaomi, and 10% have ever been recognized as a risk application by Xiaomi security audit.
But bleakness doesn’t necessarily mean clutter. Xiaomi has always considered the information security and privacy protection of users as the basis of existence. They are offering a pure mode to solve risky or unknown application installation problems.
