Xiaomi’s Dinosaur graphic trademark could be Redmi K50 mascot

Xiaomi has recently applied for a new graphic trademark that looks similar to a Dinosaur. It seems that the new trademark is the new mascot for the upcoming Redmi K50 series of smartphones.

These expectations are rife as the older Redmi K20 series smartphones had a mascot dubbed the “Big Devil” dinosaur. Thus, Xiaomi could be bringing back the dinosaur mascot again for the upcoming K50 lineup.

Moreover, the trademark has an international classification and is expected to be used for smartphones as well as related accessories such as phone cases and others.

To be mentioned, the new trademarked little dinosaur logo is different from the two mascots that have been used for the Redmi K series of phones in the past.

Earlier this year, we have seen that the Redmi K40 series didn’t arrive with any mascot, whereas, the K20 had a dinosaur mascot and the K30 had a dragon mascot.

Aside from this, the tech giant hasn’t officially hinted at any of the features or specifications of the upcoming Redmi K50 series, but it confirms its arrival. The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is coming as well.

According to the previous leaks, the K50 has two models, when talking about chipsets – a Snapdragon 888-powered and a Snapdragon 898-powered. Similar to K40, it could be possible that the vanilla will equip SD888 and the Pro and Pro+ will feature an SD898 chipset.

Other than this, there’s no information about the phones. As these are the successors of the existing models, they will come with several upgraded internals, especially cameras and displays.
