Xiaomi Mi 11 and Redmi K40 smartphones were released earlier this year. Now the tech giant has begun preparing for their successors, which will be known as Mi 12 and Redmi K50.
We have been hearing several news and leaks about the forthcoming phones. The general manager of Redmi has even confirmed the arrival of Redmi K50 and the gaming edition of Redmi K50.

Meanwhile, more information about the products has just got revealed by a famous Weibo blogger DigitalChatStation. Following the information, a few new models of Mi 12 and Redmi K50 have got filed online and the models include L1C, L2C, L3AC, L10AC, and L11C.
However, we aren’t sure which number belongs to which device. Anyways, these devices are expected to arrive with flagship-grade processors. Reportedly, the Mi 12 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chipset.
The K50 has two models – a Snapdragon 888-powered and a Snapdragon 898-powered. Similar to K40, it could be possible that the vanilla will equip SD888 and the Pro and Pro+ will feature an SD898 chipset.
Aside from this, as these are the successors of the existing models, they will come with several upgraded internals, especially cameras and displays. As of now, there isn’t much information about the K50 whereas, the Mi 12 has been leaked many times.
The Mi phone will reportedly come with an LTPO screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Samsung GN3 camera sensor. Well, the Redmi phone is expected to arrive with similar specs as Mi 12, but at affordable pricing.
