Xiaomi has divided its products into multiple sub-brands to meet different market positions. Among them, Mi is most notable as it brings devices equipped with most advanced internals, when compared to the other sub-brands.
So far, the tech launched the Mi phones with Mi branding. Now, ten year after the first Mi phone, Xiaomi has made a big announcement. Reportedly, Future Xiaomi products will not include the name Mi in their names.

Xiaomi executives said that the rebranding started with Xiaomi Mix 4 and all new products launched in the future will follow this path. To be mentioned, this isn’t only applicable for smartphones but other products too.
As we know that sells many products including smart homes, lifestyle, televisions, laptops, smartwatches, scooters, robots, and much more. These products bear Mi branding but that will change for the upcoming products.
The change will not affect any existing Xiaomi products that has been already branded “Mi”, but one should not expect it to see flashy advertising campaigns and promos.
With such a huge growth in recent months, the name Xiaomi is more recognizable than ever. The tech giant has even drops the Mi branding for many of its products in China.
