Xiaomi will introduce Mi 11T/Pro and Mi Pad 5 on September 15

Xiaomi has recently hosted a launch event in China where it released Mi Mix 4, Mi Pad 5, Mi TVs, Mi Speakers, and several other products. The company is also set to release several devices such as Mi Band 6, Mi Notebooks, Mi TVs, and more in India on August 26.

Now the tech giant has announced an online global launch event which will be held on September 15. The Twitter post states that “We promise this will be an exciting moment for all of you!

Well, the officials are yet to reveal the product names that going to be uncovered in the event. But as always, there are expectations on what the company will announce. The products that should be launched in the event are Mi Pad 5 series tablets and Mi 11T series smartphones.

We have been hearing several rumors on the launch of Mi 11T and Mi 11T Pro smartphones. Some reports even claimed that this will be introduced next month. However, some sources claimed that Mi 11T phone will launch on September 23.

If the report goes true, it could be possible that Xiaomi will launch Mi Pad 5 on September 15 and Mi 11T on September 23. Although these are just speculations and we cannot surely say any word on this.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series has three tablets, Mi Pad 5, Mi Pad 5 Pro, and Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G. There are many similarities in these products especially the Pro and Pro 5G. Some of the notable differences between them are their processors, cameras, and battery.

They come with an 11-inch LCD screen with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and a 120Hz high refresh rate. The base model is powered by Snapdragon 860 processor whereas the other two equips Snapdragon 870 SoC.

When talking about their cameras, the vanilla has a 13MP rear camera, the Pro has 13MP + 5MP camera, and the Pro 5G has 50MP + 5MP camera. The 8MP selfie shooter is common in all devices.

Other than these, the Pad 5 has a battery capacity of 8,720mAh with 33W fast charging support whereas the other two have an 8,600mAh battery with a 67W ultra-fast wired second charge. Last but not least, they run Android 11 based Enhanced MIUI for Pad. Read More.

Xiaomi Mi 11T and Mi 11T Pro

A famous Weibo blogger, DigitalChatStation exposed that compared to the old models, Xiaomi will be reducing the screen refresh rate from 144Hz to 120Hz but will offer an AMOLED screen instead of the LCD panel on the smartphones.

The Mi 11T Pro will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or 888+ chipset. It should be mentioned that recently a Xiaomi smartphone with model number 2108111RG and MediaTek Dimensity processor has been certified. The smartphone is expected to be Mi 11T and the chipset could be Dimensity 1200.

Moreover, the MIUI 12.5 is currently the latest software offering by the company, thus, both the phones are expected to run MIUI 12.5 out of the box, on top of Android 11, of course.

On camera specs, as of now, there are no details on Mi 11T Pro camera but for Mi 11T, it is said that its camera configuration will be similar to Mi 11 Lite. It means the phone could have a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP telemacro lens. On the front side, there could be a 16MP selfie shooter.

Mi 11T Pro is said to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that will have support for 120W fast charging technology.
