Xiaomi’s Indian division is currently hyping an upcoming event called Smarter Living 2022. In the event, the tech will be introducing several Mi products such as Mi TV 5X, Mi Smart Band 6, Mi Notebook Pro, and others.
Now, the company’s sub-brand Redmi is also going to introduce its new smartphone there. The smartphone is Redmi 10 Prime and it will be announced on September 3 at 12 noon.

The OEM calls Redmi 10 Prime “The All Round Superstar” as it reportedly has a superstar camera, processor, sound, gaming experience, creators paradise, battery life, adaptive display, as well as looks.
Previously, we have been informed that Redmi 10 Prime will be the rebranded version of Redmi 10, which has been introduced in Malaysia last week. Thus, we already know the features and specifications of the upcoming Redmi 10 Prime.

Redmi 10 Prime Specifications:
Based on Redmi 10, the Redmi 10 Prime will display a 6.5 inches FHD+ punch-hole screen that offers a 90Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by MediaTek Helio G88 chipset coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
When we talk about its camera, it will have a quad-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it will have an 8MP snapper.
Moreover, the device will run MIUI 12.5 on top of the Android 11 operating system. It will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. However, a 22.5W charger is included in the box. Also, the battery supports 9W reverse charging.
Besides this, the phone supports dual-SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS), USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, a MicroSD card slot, and an IR blaster.
