Xiaomi launches RedmiBook Pro and Mi Notebook Pro Enhanced Edition

In February this year, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched its new laptops, RedmiBook Pro 14 and RedmiBook Pro 15 in China. Later the company introduced Mi Notebook Pro 14 and Mi Notebook Pro 15 at the Mega Product Launch Event in China.

Few months after their announcement, the company is uncovering their updated versions and calling them “Enhanced Edition”. Well, the new laptops feature the same specifications as the older ones, the only notable change is their processors.

The Enhanced Edition models come with Intel Core i5-11320H and Core i7- 11390H processors instead of Intel Core i5-11300H and Core i7-11370H chipsets present inside the standard variants.

The following are the prices of the new laptops.

Mi Notebook Pro 14 Enhanced Edition

Mi Notebook Pro 14 Enhanced Edition uses a 2.5K Super Retina Velocity Screen, with 2560×1600 resolution and 100% sRGB color gamut coverage, and supports 216 PPI and 300 nits of brightness.

It is equipped with Intel’s 11th generation Core H35 processor, optional MX450 graphics card, 16GB DDR4 dual-channel memory, and 512GB PCIe SSD.

Moreover, the device features Thunderbolt 4 and dual USB-C ports, using a two-in-one fingerprint power supply, and supporting one-key boot and unlock.

Mi Notebook Pro 15 Enhanced Edition

Mi Notebook Pro 15 weighs about 1.8kg and is about 15.9mm thick. It adopts CNC integrated precision carving technology and supports Xiaoai students and MIUI+.

When talking about its display, it uses a 15.6-inch 3.5K E4 OLED super retina screen with 91% screen-to-body ratio and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and it has passed HDR 500 certification.

It further comes equipped with an optional MX450 graphics card, a two-in-one fingerprint power supply, a Thunderbolt 4 and dual USB-C ports, a full-size keyboard, and a three-level adjustable backlight.

RedmiBook Pro 14/15 Enhanced Edition

RedmiBook Pro 14 Enhanced Version uses a 2.5K super retina full screen with 2560×1600 resolution and 100% sRGB color gamut coverage and supports DC dimming.

Whereas, the RedmiBook Pro 15 enhanced version uses a 15.6-inch 3.2K 90Hz super retina full screen, with a 3200×2000 resolution and 100% sRGB color gamut coverage.

These use optional MX450 graphics cards, two-in-one fingerprint power supplies, and Thunderbolt 4 and USB-C interfaces.
